26 officers of Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. are dredging the water channel of Jalan Budi Kemuliaan, Gambir today, Thursday (3/8). It is carried out to increase the capacity of the channel.

"It has been done since the beginning of March. Thus far we have transported around 2,000 sacks of mud," expressed Dwi Endah Aryaningrum, Executing Unit Head of Gambir Sub-district for Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Thursday (3/8).

She stated the channel that has been dredged is up to 490 meters. 

"This is a routine agenda, especially during rainy season. It's targeted to be done by the end of this weekend and will be continued in around Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat," he said.
