City: No Fake Chicken Eggs in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government ensures there are no fake chicken eggs in the market. Even laboratory test results on the suspected fake eggs in videos that had viral, indicated it was genuine and had a good quality.

Sri Hartati, Section Head of Animal Husbandry and Health for Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. stated Jakartans do not need to worry about the circulation of fake chicken eggs.

"No fake chicken eggs in Jakarta. After being e xamined in laboratory, the result was negative. The eggs are original and has good quality," he stressed, when she gave a press statement, at Kramat Jati Market's Jak Grosir, East Jakarta, Tuesday (3/20).

"We believe that eggs sent to PT Food Station have a healthy quality. Even we visit the chicken coop and packing process," he stated.
