Until Mid of This Year, E. Jakarta will Hold 79 Cheap Markets

East Jakarta Government will hold cheap market for 79 times until the middle of this year. One of its purposes is to control staple commodities price thus it can help citizen's economy.

Firstly, cheap markets have been held in urban village offices since February and it will continue until June

East Jakarta Economy Division Head, Yeni Asnita informed, until this June cheap market will be held in urban village offices, sub-district offices, flats, and RPTRAs.

East Jakarta Opens Cheap Market in 10 Sub-districts

"Firstly, cheap markets have been held in urban village offices since February and it will continue until June," she conveyed, Tuesday (3/27).

Besides cheap market, her side will also plan to hold bazaar in mayor office for five times. Then each of 10 sub-district offices will hold bazaar for three times in a year.

Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-dept., PT. Food Station Tjipinang, and PD Dharma Jaya are involved in holding those bazaars and cheap markets in the area.

"This year, we are also involving OK OCE participants to take a part in sub-district offices and mayor office's bazaar. They sell their own products. There are 200 participants from OK OCE who are participated in each sub-district," she explained.
