Tens of Stalls Along Cengkareng Drain Riverbank Controlled

Tens of stalls that along the Cengkareng Drain riverbank, RW 06, Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta were controlled by joint personnel of Satpol PP, PPSU, police and army, Thursday (3/28).

Kembangan Sub-district Head, Agus Ramdani stated, prior to controlling, his party along with three pillars had done socialization towards stall owners and locals who put goods along the location.

Cengkareng Drain Riverbank Will Have a Park

"After this, I ask the urban village head to guard and arrange riverbank to become a park in order to block street vendors (PKL), Wednesday (3/28).

Kembangan Utara Urban Village Head, Edy Sukarya added that those stalls had been controlled repeatedly, but the traders returned again to the location.

"Most traders are from Kemiri Market. After the controlling, we will transform the location into a park, moreover we also get support from public figures of RW 06," he stated.
