Jakarta HPSN will Hold Gerebek Sampah at Cilincing Beach

Jakarta Provincial Government will hold Gerebek Sampah in KBN Marunda Coastal Area, Cilincing, Noeth Jakarta, Sunday (4/15). This event is done to commemorate National Waste Care (HPSN) 2018.

HPSN 2018 at provincial level will be centered in Cilincing coastal area, North Jakarta

Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji said, HPSN activitiy in this year is different than previous years that only held in a day.

He mentioned, HPSN 2018 is one of "Tiga Bulan Bersih Sampah (TBBS)" cooperation work programs which is held on January 21-April 21, 2018 in all over Indonesia.

"HPSN 2018 at provincial level will be centered in Cilincing coastal area, North Jakarta. Precisely at KBN Marunda Coastal," he informed, Saturday (4/14).

He explained, activities that have been done to commemorate HPSN are organic and inorganic waste collecting and weighing, e-waste collecting by residents, and signing on MOU related to household waste management.

"Tomorrow (today), 1,000 people from various communities such as LHK RI Ministry, SKPD, LSM, public figures, pramuka, schools, and universities will participate in the event," he stated.
