Thus far, only five still ignore our warning

30 joint personnel have demolished five buildings stood atop the water channel on Jalan Kramat III, RT 02/09, Kwitang Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta. These buildings have hampered the flow of water and caused inundation when it rains.

Those personnel consisted of Satpol PP, PPSU, Water Resources Sub-dept., Environment Sub-dept. police and army.

Kwitang Urban Village Head, Hamdani stated, locals and buildings owners were warned before. And some had demolished buildings by themselves.

"Thus far, only five still ignore our warning. After cleaning is done, we will do sterilization by inviting communities to beautify the location, especially the wall," he expressed, Wednesday (4/18).
