Joint personnel from West Jakarta Transportation Dept., Satpol PP, police, and TNI have netted 30 vehicles that parked illegally in Hayam Wuruk and Gajah Mada, Thursday (4/19).

Taman Sari Sub-district Transportation Unit Head, Irwan Efendi said, in this operation two public minivans and one bajaj were ticketed by Dishub, two private cars were towed, 25 motorcycles were netted, and 10 motorcycles were ticketed by police.

"We follow up resident's report about many parked vehicles on sidewalk and roadside," he mentioned.

He added, his side has conducted socialization intensively to prevent residents from breaking the rules.

"We also install banners about parking restrictions on sidewalks and roadside but sometime vehicle owners ignore this instruction," he conveyed.
