The Pengadegan Urban Village, Pancoran, South Jakarta keeps innovating to beautify its region. Besides developing the hydroponic village, the locals are also invited to use the water channel as a fish pond.

Currently, in his region, there is on RW that has used the channel as the fish pond, namely RW 01. Nevertheless it is not conducted in all channels.
"Not all channels are used. We just use the unoptimal channel, yet waste water can still flow, as it was installed by a pipe in the middle," he told.
According to him, fishes cultivated in the channel are catfish and parrot fish. Both are chosen because of the fast breeding and strong.
Pengadegan RW 01 Chairman, Syaifullah Muzjamal explained, the proceeds of the fish harvest to buy the seeds is back again, so the cultivation can still run.
"There are some more points that are being made," he stated.
Besides fish cultivation, hydroponics plant is also seeded, even it becomes a pilot for several urban villages in South Jakarta.
"It's because it can change the surrounding environment clean, green and beautiful," he stated.
Based on beritajakarta.id, the fish pond is seen in two alleys, namely alley A and alley C, RW 01. There are several fish ponds with 1.5-2 meters length.
