Ratusan Beton Pembatas Jalan Sepanjang Jl Daan Mogot Copot dan Rusak

Concrete Road Separators Along Jalan Daan Mogot Damaged

Hundreds of concrete road separators along Jalan Daan Mogot, precisely on the lane from Kalideres towards Grogol, West Jakarta, are damaged and gone. Besides jeopardizing road users, this condition also makes the road looks slum.

That road is a protocol road which authority to repair it lies in the hands of Public Works Ministry

Based on beritajakarta.com observations, damaged concrete road separators are located starting from KM 11 Taman Kota TransJakarta Bus Stop, KM 12 in front of ABC ketchup factory, KM 13 Duta Indah Karya Warehousing, KM 14 Green Park View Residence, until in front of Kalideres Terminal.

In general, the concrete road separators are dislodged, fell into the drainage along the road, and clogged it. As a result, the water in the drainage cannot run smoothly to Mookevart River and finally inundates the road when rain pours.

Trash Piling on Jalan Daan Mogot, Locals Complained

Head of West Jakarta Roads Public Works Sub-Department, Sisca Herawati, admitted already knew about this matter.

“That road is a protocol road which authority to repair it lies in the hands of Public Works Ministry. We also have reported about the damaged concrete road separators (to the ministry). But about the potholes along Jalan Daan Mogot, we help patching it using the 2014 budget that reaches Rp 490 billion,” she stated.
