Pengadegan's Kampung Warna Warni Made With Educative Concept

Pengadegan Urban Village, Pancoran, South Jakarta started to develop Kampung Warna Warni (colorful village) since 2016. Not only decorate it using colorful colors, but it is developed with educative concept.

Pengadegan Urban Village, Muhammad Mursid said, Kampung Warna Warni in his area is only located at RT 02 RW 07.

"Kampung Warna Warni in Pengadegan is not only decorated by colors, but it is developed with educative concept where people can gain knowledge by seeing pictures in the area," he explained, Monday (4/30).

Tegal Parang Continues to Promote Kampung Warna Warni

According to him, local residents gives great efforts in developing Kampung Warna Warni. Even, 100 percent of this creation is made independently by local residents. From its idea, paints, and other needs.

"100 percent of this masterpiece is financed by local residents, including its paints," he added.

He admitted his side won't impose residents in other RW to create Kampung Warna Warni because he believed each RWs have their own characteristic and strength.

"The result will not be optimal if it is imposed," he conveyed.
