Fruit and Vegetable at Kramat Jati Market Safe to Eat

City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. conducts supervision and security toward agriculture products at Kramat Jati Market, East Jakarta.

In the results, all samples are free from harmful substances. So, fruit and vegetables being sold is safe for consumption

According to Darjamuni, Head of City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept., it is done by testing 44 product samples consist of 13 fruit samples and 31 vegetable samples.

Fruit samples examined are melons, grapes, starfruit, watermelons and oranges. While vegetable samples are like red curly peppers, green chili , cabbage, tomato, green mustard, spring onion, lettuce and cucumber.

"In the results, all samples are free from harmful substances. So, fruit and vegetables being sold is safe for consumption," he expressed, Wednesday (5/9).
