The ranks of East Jakarta City Leader Coordinating Forum (Forkopimko) are checking the price and supply of food in Perumnas Klender Market, Duren Sawit. This activity is a step for price and staple stock stability during Ramadan.

"It aims to check the price while examining the food content. Generally, the price of commodities in the market is still stable," said East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, Friday (5/25).

East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chairman, Sr. Comr. Yoyon Tonny Surya Putra who also participated in the field, thus far there has been no evidence of stockpiling and distribution of food products containing hazardous chemicals. If it is found, it will be acted decisively.

"The market is safe of stockpiling and hazardous chemicals. If it is found, trader will be punished in accordance with the applicable law," he stressed.
