West Jakarta Government holds bazaar on Mayor Office's yard on Monday (6/4). This event was officially opened by Anas Effendi, the Mayor.

In his welcoming speech, he said this bazaar is held routinely each year to facilitate people to buy various staple foods which are needed ahead of Eid.

West Jakarta Assistant in Economy and Development, Fredi Setiawan explained, there are 2,000-3,000 staple food packages sold in this event with affordable price.
"Different prices for these staple food packages, between Rp 30,000-50,000 per package," he informed.
West Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. Head, Marsawitri Gumay added, her side prepares 11 booths that sell various foods and processed foods from vegetables, fruits, meats, and others.
"We provide 260 kilograms of beef with Rp 80 thousand per kilogram and buffalo meat for Rp 75 thousand per kilogram. We also prepare additional stocks if there is high demand," she mentioned.
