Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, led homecoming flow and returning flow preparedness ceremony at Pulogebang Terminal, Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday (6/6). The ceremony was participated by 687 joint officers of various related units.

In that occasion, he also put a control pin to the representatives of the national army, police, Satpol PP, Transportation Dept., as well as Population and Civil Registration Dept.

"We want to ensure that Jakartans who take homecoming using bus can arrive safely, including the bus driver," he stated.

After the ceremony, he then checked the condition of the fleet and greets the homecomers in the AKAP bus. Even he also had chit chat with two bus crews who are ready to carry the passengers.

In the meantime, Jakarta Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah added, thus far, all terminals, officers and fleets are ready to serve the homecomers.

There are four main terminals prepared during homecoming season. They are Pulogebang, Kampung Rambutan, Tanjung Priok, and Kalideres terminals. His side also has five supporting terminals such as Pinang Ranti, Muara Angke, Grogol, Lebak Bulus, and Rawamangun terminals.

"We prepare 2,655 buses with excellent condition. To ensure it, we also do ramp check to them. They consist of 2,370 regular buses and 295 back-up buses," he stated.
