PT KAI Prepares 900 Thousand Train Tickets During Homecoming Flow

PT KAI operational region (Daop) I, has provided 900 thousands of departure tickets for ten days during homecoming flow this year.

PT KAI Daop I has departed 7 regular trains and 16 additional trains

PT KAI Daop I's Public Relations Manager Senior, Edy Kuswoyo expressed, up to Friday (6/1), as many as 570 thousands of tickets for departure dated on June 4-14 were sold out.

25 Cameras will Be Installed at Kalideres Terminal

"PT KAI Daop I has departed 7 regular trains and 16 additional trains," he stated, Sunday (6/3).

Besides additional train, PT KAI also applies policies to add to the series of trains. It is aimed to optimally accommodate people who will be going hometown.

"There are certain trains that are done by the addition of train carriages. The passenger will depart in accordance with the number of seats available, no one stands," he explained.

To smoothen homecoming flow, Transportation Minister had done a working visit to the Gambir Station, Central Jakarta in the afternoon.

He stated the train still becomes a favorite of the public transportation for people who take homecoming. Hence, he wanted to make sure the preparation went smoothly and passengers can be served well.

"Ticket price is still normal. We're committed to improve service and performance," he said.
