74,311 Homecomers Departed from Kampung Rambutan Terminal

The homecoming flow at the Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta continues to increase, Wednesday (5/13).

It is noted around 15,953 passengers who are using 490 buses have been departed from terminal today. Since D-8 until D-3, terminal has departed around 74,311 passengers.

Kampung Rambutan Terminal Head, Emiral August Dwinanto stated, since Tuesday (6/12) afternoon until Wednesday morning, the number of homecomers is about 15,953 people. They are heading to West Java, Central Java and Lampung.

"The peak of homecoming flow has been seen since Tuesday afternoon until night. This is because its number has hit 15,953 passengers or higher than previous days," he stated.

Nevertheless, it is predictably its number will keep increasing on D-2 until D-3, Thursday (6/14). Because in its traditions, many residents take homecoming by the end of Ramadan thus not to linger in the hometown.

In the data, since D-8 until D-3, the number of homecomers in Kampung Rambutan Terminal reached 74,311 passengers with 2,638 buses. It is increasing up to 7.1 percent or higher than last year that reached 69,386 passengers with 2,718 buses.
