Takbiran Night, S. Jakarta Prepares 200 Orange Troops

200 orange troop personnel are stand by during takbiran night (night before Eid) in South Jakarta. They are placed in several crowded spots.

200 personnel will stand by to clean up the area

South Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-dept. Head, Syarifudin said, most people are predicted to gather in several places such as mosque and others. Thus his side prepares personnel to clean up the waste after takbiran celebration is done.

"Tonight, we will clean up the waste after takbiran. 200 personnel will stand by to clean up the area and ensure it is clean by tomorrow's morning," he stated, Thursday (6/14).

Homecoming Period, Satpol PP Deploys 1,374 Personnel

According to him, his side will ensure to maintain the area cleanliness even though most of South Jakarta residents have been leaving for homecoming.

"Personnel are also prepared to serve people who are not going to their hometowns by keeping the area clean from trash," he mentioned.

He added, waste volume will be increased in several locations during Eid holiday, such as in mosque and tourist attractions.

"Waste volume on settlements is decreased but it is increased in several places like mosque and tourist attractions," he stated.
