Sandi Wants Jakarta Continues to Have Cultural Parade

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno considered Jakarta needs to have cultural parade such as Jakarnaval. According to him, Jakarnaval 2018 that will be held on Sunday (7/8) is a medium for Jakartans in expressing their pride towards Jakarta as the city where they live.

This Sunday, Jakarnaval Festival will Be Held

He explained, Jakarnaval 2018 that will be participated by 4,000 people is planned to show various local wisdom such as ondel-ondel, tanjidor, and parkour.

"Besides, Jakarnaval 2018 will also show modern arts such as hip hop music," he explained.

He conveyed, big cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Singapura also have cultural parade as a form of citizen's pride.

"Because parade is a part of joy," he add ed.
