LH Dept. will Open Booth in Environment Week Event

In this Forestry and Environment Week event, we will open booth at Cendrawasih C45-C48 with theme plastic waste management

Jakarta Environment (LH) Dept. will open a booth in the 22nd Forestry and Environment Week 2018 on July 19-21, at Jakarta Convention Center, Gelora, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

Jakarta LH Dept. Head, Isnawa Adji mentioned, this event is held by Forestry and Environment Ministry. Jakarta Environment Dept. is participated to encourage people to concern about forest and environment.

"In this Forestry and Environment Week event, we will open booth at Cendrawasih C45-C48 with theme plastic waste management," he informed, Wednesday (7/18).

He explained, booth is opened from 10 AM to 4 PM. It will display handicraft from recycled material and perform 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Demo which is involving residents. Moreover, that demo will invite speaker from LH Dept. and INASGOC that relates with Asian Games.

"We will also hold percussion from recycled materials such as using unused drum," he mentioned.

His side will deploy 22 personnel per day to standby at booth with shift work.

"It is the biggest forestry and environment event in Indonesia, so we must be optimal in giving environment education and socialization," he conveyed.
