Jakarta Governor, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo is scheduled to celebrate Eid ul Fitr 1435 Hijri in Jakarta and conduct Eid ul Fitr prayer in the yard of Jakarta City Hall, along with regional working units (SKPD), Jakarta Legislative Council leaders, and locals.

Approacing Eid ul Fitr, Seribu Islands Prepares 30 Boats
The Eid ul Fitr prayer will be led by a priest, H Syahrir Ali Basya SQ and preacher, Dr. Lutfi Fatulloh MA who is Director of Hadith Study Center. The prayer is scheduled to be held at 6.30 AM on 1 Syawal 1435 Hijri.
Last year, Jakarta DPRD Head, Ferrial Sofyan and his wife also did Eid ul Fitr at City Hall. Besides that, the SKPD was urged to conduct the prayer at the same place. "Some SKPDs and DPRD leaders are usually participating in the Eid ul Fitr prayer with governor," he told.
According to him, the City Hall's yard can accommodate 700 pilgrims. Thus, for those who want conduct Eid ul Fitr prayer can join them. "The activity is also open for locals, considering the City Hall's yard is large," he stated.
As known, in Eid ul Fitr last year, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) at Istiqlal Mosque, Central Jakarta. After that, Jokowi took his time to go to City Hall for silaturahmi (friendly visits) with SKPD for Eid ul Fitr prayer.
