Sandi Continues Sister City Cooperation Within His Work Visit to Moscow

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno holds work visit to Moscow, Russia to follow up Sister City cooperation between Jakarta and Moscow.

In our visit to Moscow, we are sure cooperation between Jakarta and Moscow is strengthened

He said, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Jakarta and Moscow has been renewed in 2017. But cooperation needs to be more concretized and realized. Especially that relates with job creation, affordability living, and increase on entrepreneurial participation in economic development.

"In our visit to Moscow, we are sure cooperation between Jakarta and Moscow is strengthened," he mentioned after visit Moscow Government Office, Tverskaya Street No. 13, Moscow, Russia, Wednesday (8/1).

He added, opportunities are opened for cooperation between business actors in Jakarta and Moscow with local governments using public private partnership.

"We can collaborate in waste management infrastructure, water, wastewater, or renewable energy," he conveyed.

Meanwhile, Moscow Vice Mayor, Khusnullin Marat appreciates the MoU continuation between Jakarta and Moscow and expects this cooperation can be a moment where each cities share their experiences in managing their own cities.

"I appreciate this meeting and will continue Sister City MoU between Jakarta-Moscow that have been renewed since 2017," he expressed.
