8,000 Students will Enliven Torch Parade in S. Jakarta

There are 400 students in each post. Totally there are 20 posts in torch parade in South Jakarta

8,000 students will enliven the Asian Games Torch Parade in South Jakarta on August 15.

Various art performances will also be displayed by students in each post.

Tambora Prepares Asian Games Torch Relay Route

South Jakarta Education Region I Sub-dept. Head, Joko Sugiarto stated, during the event, students will stand along the torch parade track with red and white flags and Asian Games participant flags.

"There are 400 students in each post. Totally there are 20 posts in torch parade in South Jakarta," he expressed, Wednesday (8/8).

In the event, they were asked to enliven the event. In addition, some schools will also send their students to fill shows in each post.

"So the number can be more than 8,000 students. Because some of them will fill shows in each post," he told. 

Various kinds of art performances will be displayed to entertain the visitor. Among them are performances of marching bands, hadroh (tambourine ensemble), marawis (percussion ensemble), dances, saman dances, and so forth.

"Each post will be entertained for more than two shows. Each post will have two to three shows," he stated.
