City DPRD encourages the Kota Tua area, West Jakarta, to win the world heritage title from the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

"For Kota Tua, we will hold a special meeting so we can focus on how to win world heritage," expressed Mualif, Secretary of City DPRD's Commission, Wednesday (8/8).

In the meantime, City Tourism and Culture Dept. Acting Head, Asiantoro explained that there are currently several requirements that cannot be met to achieve the title of world heritage.

"We're trying to improve it. Certainly the Kota Tua area must be given special attention," he said.
