PBB-P2 Tax Realization in West Jakarta Reaches 60 Percent

The Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) revenue realization in West Jakarta this year is higher than other cities.

Until now, its realization has reached 60 percent or Rp 780 billion of total budget at Rp 1.3 trillion.

"We would like to thank mayors, sub-district and urban village heads that have been involved," expressed Faisal Syafrudin, Head of Jakarta BPRD when he attended the 2018 PBB-P2 Week, Thursday (9/6).

He hoped that tax revenue this year can be achieved 100 percent of the target set, especially after the launch of the PBB-P2 Week event.

"Tax revenue like PBB-P2 is one of the sources of the budget to develop the city of Jakarta," he said.

This year's budge realization reached Rp 77.7 trillion. From that amount, almost 50 percent of the budget revenue is supported by local tax revenues.

"PBB-P2 revenue is the second highest after motor vehicle tax in the capital," he stated.
