Anies Joined LRT Limited Operation Trial

Thank God, trial runs well. Besides on quality, this is also on budget

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan joined the limited operation trial phase of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) mass transportation mode.

LRT Train Operation Tested

Based on beritajakarta.id, prior to trip from Velodrome Station, Rawamangun, East Jakarta towards Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta, he was firstly greeting and conversing with machinists.

Besides him, there were also PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) President Director, Dwi Wahyu Darwoto; President Director of PT LRT Jakarta, Allan Tandiono; and Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Andri Yansyah.

He felt grateful that the implementation of the trial went smoothly.

"Thank God, trial runs well. Besides on quality, this is also on budget," he expressed, Wednesday (9/12).

PT LRT Jakarta infrastructures should be upgraded in a bid to support the mobility of the disabled people who use LRT.

"We want to make sure all LRT users can enjoy the best service safely and comfortably," he uttered.

He appreciated PT LRT Jakarta team that works well.

"We should be proud, as there are many national children involved. This has become one of the examples," he stated.

As known, the trial has been ongoing since August 15 and will end on September 14, 2018.
