"Can you imagine, 7 million people are unemployed and 3 million people are Indonesian migrant workers (TKI). We need 10 million job opportunities to solve it," expressed Chairman of SBSI, Muchtar Pakpahan, Thursday (7/31).

According to him, a new breakthrough is needed to overcome the problems. There are at least three things that need to be carried in future. Among them are making job opportunity in accordance with skill. Technically, the government should improve the workers' skills to optimize the existence of Training Center (BLK). In addition, education sector should also be improved according to their interests and talents.

Then, transmigration program should also be continued by developing the infrastructure in accordance with the local potential and fair wages implementation for workers thus tripartite cooperation will be created well.

"There are three breakthroughs that should be done by the new government. They are sector-based workforce skills, sustainable transmigration program and a decent wage system for workers," he uttered.

He added that such solution could be run if there was cooperation and mutual assistance between the government, private sector, and workers. Besides that, a leader who has idealistic, honest, firm, and free of bribes, is urgently needed. The reason is he should be able to prosper the people.

"We need leader who has idealistic, honest, firm, and free of bribes," he stated.
