North Jakarta Forestry Sub-dept.'s Green Space Section Head, Djauhar Arifin stated, pruning is focused in settlement areas first to anticipate trees from falling and its branches from broken that can be dangerous.
Tree Pruning will Be Intensified in the Forthcoming Rainy Season"We are prioritizing trees in Kelapa Gading and Tanjung Priok settlements ahead of rainy season," he informed, Wednesday (9/26).
He explained, his side has pruned 4,650 trees in those two sub-districts until August 2018. In detail, his side conducted light pruning to 1,365 trees, medium pruning to 2,165 trees, and heavy pruning to 1,100 trees.
"We prune shady trees that blocking traffic signs and PJU lamps," he conveyed.
