Anies Handed Over Transport Hub Design Competition Awards to The Winners

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan handed over an award to Dukuh Atas Transportation Hub design competition winner, Thamrin Nine Ballroom, Central Jakarta, Thursday (9/27).

Thus we have responsibility to design it thus its development can have a positive impact for Indonesian culture in the future

In his speech, he said MRT construction in Dukuh Atas transit oriented area is a big move that will cause a long history since it is not only affected in one or two years.

Thus his side encourages all residents, especially MRT sides, to be involved in this development and become a part of Indonesian culture development.

"MRT development and Dukuh Atas transit oriented area is new to our culture. Thus we have responsibility to design it thus its development can have a positive impact for Indonesian culture in the future," he explained.

Design draft titled "Regeneration Jakarta" is chosen as the first winner with prize Rp 100 million.

Second winner is design draft titled "Taman Transit" and its designer receives Rp 45 million for the prize.

Meanwhile, the third winner with Rp 25 million prize is for design draft with title "The Urban Acupuncture".
