Just cut their TKD
“
Just cut their TKD ,” he stated at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Monday (8/4).Basuki acknowledged that he has instructed Jakarta Personnel Board (BKD) to hold a sudden inspection (sidak). If there were civil servants absent without explanation, he asks Jakarta BKD Head, I Made Karmayoga, to directly cast sanction to them.
TKD for Jakarta Civil Servants will Be Revised SoonBut, he does not whether he would do the inspection with Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo or alone.
“If I told you, it will be useless. I’m going to lead executive meeting here. But as far as I know, civil servants’ attendance is improving year by year,” he said.
Based on the Government Regulation No. 53/2010 on Civil Servant Discipline, civil servants will be sanctioned if they were absent without explanation or truant. Minor sanction is in form of verbal and written reprimand. If verbal reprimand was given, they will not receive TKD for one month. But if written reprimand was issued, they will not receive TKD for three months.
As reported before, this Monday morning BKD Head I Made Karmayoga and his team held inspection at the offices of Jakarta ULP, Health Service Center, and Jakarta Parliament (DPRD)’s Council Secretariat. In that occasion, most of employees were present on the first day of work.
