PDAM Conducts Water Feasibility Study at Setu Babakan

The state tap-water company (PDAM Jaya), conducted a water feasibility study at the Betawi cultural neighborhood Setu Babakan, Jagakarsa, Srengseng Sawah, South Jakarta. The feasibility study was to determine the potential of water to be used as a source of drinking water that is feasible to drink.
As a results, water in Setu Babakan has relatively good water quality but the debit is not too much thus feasibility study is needed
PDAM Jaya President Director, Priyatno Bambang Hernowo disclosed that it was held to see if the water in the area has the potential to be processed into ready-to-drink water. Surely the potential is seen based on the Health Minister Regulation No. 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning water quality requirements.
"As a result

Aside that there are still many people in the Setu Babakan area who use ground water as a source of drinking water even though the quality of groundwater is decreasing.
