Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan stated that there will be more equal opportunities for all parties in the trade under the auspices of PD Pasar Jaya.
"We want traditional traders, either small or medium to continue to grow like modern sectors," he explained.
He hoped that it could make the distribution network of food needs for Jakartans thus can be more optimized Perumda Pasar Jaya.
"Our target is Jakartans can get better basic needs at affordable prices.
Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin expressed that his party is managing 153 traditional markets in Jakarta.
"We will maximize small-scale economic empowerment and strengthen food stability," he told.
Perumda Pasar Jaya, he continued, will take strategic steps to strengthen the people's economy, land optimization, and strengthening food distribution.
