Reading Corner at Athlete's Homestead Very Enthused

Reading corner that set up in the athlete's homestead, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta is pretty enthused by the Asian Para Games athletes until officials and volunteers.

Book borrowing is usually crowded in the afternoon

Munik, officer of reading corner at athlete's homestead Tower 4 expressed that since it is opened, there have been 108 people served. In details, 76 out of them read at the location and 32 others borrowed books to read in their rooms.

"Book borrowing is usually crowded in the afternoon," she expressed, Friday (10/12).

October, Reading Corner at Walang Baru Market Opened

To borrow book, they must fill a form such as name, country or division, mobile number, ID card, and title of the book borrowed.

"For athletes and officials, the book may be taken to the room. If volunteers can be brought home for one to two days or more if there is reconfirmation," she explained.

The books collection is varied, such as sports, culinary, fashion, history and culture of Jakarta, motivation, traveling, and map of Jakarta.

"There are three officers at the reading corner who work with the shift system. The first shift starts at 7 AM-2 PM, second shift at 9 A-4 PM, and third shift at 1-8 PM," she stated.
