Jakarta Government won the second place for government category in 8th Indonesia Climate Change Forum & Expo event held by Environment and Forestry Ministry at Santika Hotel, Medan, North Sumatera, on October 17-19.
Jakarta Government explained how City handle carbon emission by conducting vehicle emission test
Jakarta Environment Dept.'s Counseling and Public Relation Section Head, Binsar Siregar stated, there are 29 participants from regional governments, business sides, and communities joined this event which activities are related to information dissemination and dialogue on climate change control.
City Wants Integration to Overcome Air Pollution"In that event, Jakarta Government explained how City handles
carbon emission by conducting vehicle emission test," he conveyed, Sunday (10/21).Besides explaining emission test, he continued, Jakarta Government which is represented by Environment Dept. also explains about waste handling, green alley and other activities that relate with air pollution handling.
"Hopefully with this achievement, we can be more optimal in providing cleaner air in Jakarta," he expressed.
