City Provincial Government wants integration from government, private and residents, to overcome the problem of air pollution in the capital.

City Deputy for Spatial Planning and Environment Oswar Muadzin Mungkasa disclosed that efforts to maintain the quality of clean air in Jakarta can
not be done individually to provide maximum results."We need to form an air quality forum," he expressed, during Workshop on Design of Air Pollution, at Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday (10/3).
Asian Games, City's Air Quality Continues to Be ImprovedThrough this workshop, two agreements are targeted, namely, a commitment to resolve problems, and a consensus on efforts to resolve the problem thus air quality in Jakarta is better.
"The air pollution handling will be carried out with a participatory and collaborative approach. We will make communication with all stakeholders thus it is more integrated, effective and efficient," he stated.
The city has launched five designs to deal with three major issues facing the country's cities in the world, namely, globalization, urbanization and climate change.
"The five grand designs in question are green buildings, drinking water supply and use of domestic wastewater, child-friendly city, waste management and urban agriculture, as well as air pollution," he stated.
