It is scheduled that in this mid August the measurement and inventory to begin in RW 10. For RW 09, it still in being studied, while RW 12 is probably only part of it that would be acquisitioned

In those RWs there are 1,900 households whose lands and buildings to be acquisitioned. In details, 750 households in RW 08, 450 households in RW 09, 500 households in RW 10, and 200 households in RW 12.

Returning Flow at Tanjung Priok Port Increasing

“It is scheduled that in this mid August the measurement and inventory to begin in RW 10. For RW 09, it still in being studied, while RW 12 is probably only part of it that would be acquisitioned,” he stated, Thursday (8/7).

According to Sahroni, inventory is done to make sure the amount of compensation money. This is because though the land belongs to Tanjung Priok New Port authority, but in terms of de facto the recommendation of the lands cultivated by the residents was issued first. Thus, the compensation will include the lands and the buildings.

“The recommendation of land cultivation owned by the residents was issued in 1966, while the land certificate was issued in 1970. Because the residents got it first, the compensation will include the lands. However, the amount of the compensation money is still being studied by the team,” he explained.

Meanwhile, North Jakarta Mayor, Heru Budi Hartono, admitted about the expansion of Tanjung Priok New Port construction project. At this time, the team that consists of officials from the National Land Agency (BPN), North Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Management Sub-Department, North Jakarta Parks Sub-Department, and North Jakarta State Court, is studying the continuation of land acquisition plan.

“All I know is that an entrance access and container trucks parking lot will be built there. Now, it is still in inventory process. As for the detail of the concept, it is still being discussed,” he uttered.
