Garbage in Ciliwung Pump House Cleaned

A number of PPSU personnel are alerted to clean garbage in a pump house around Ciliwung River, Jatinegara, East Jakarta in a bid to smoothen the water flow.

"We do checks on the condition of sluice gates and pump houses. PPSU is involved here to clean garbage," said Nasrudin Abu Bakar, Head of Jatinegara Sub-district, Friday (11/2).

Hopefully, during rainy season, the pump house and sluice gate could function optimally. That is why routine checking will be carried out by deploying PPSU to the location.

Regarding the stalls in the pump house and sluice gate 3, it will be coordinated with Satpol PP for further action. Moreover those stalls are very annoying officers to carry out routine maintenance.
