"Traditional games should be preserved and developed in a simple way thus our children can play it," he stated.
Jakarta DWP Head, Rusmiati Saefullah explained, this sport week is a part of Jakarta DWP's 19th Anniversary celebration.
There are 13 traditional games in this event with total participants 900 people from all SKPD, UKPD, TP PKK, BKOW and women communities in flats.
"For traditional games, we hold sack race, rolling, sapu lidi challenge, hopscotch (dampu), bola keranjang (similar to korfball), congklak, jumping rope, sarong relay, and buldoser," she mentioned.
