CIty's Tax Realization Touches Rp 34.18 T

Since January-December 2018, it is noted that tax and retribution realization in Jakarta has touched Rp 34.18 trillion or 89 percent of the target set at Rp 38.1 trillion.

Up to December 3, the tax and retribution realization receipts from 13 tax items will hit Rp 34.18 trillion 

Jakarta BPRD Acting Head, Faisal Syarifuddin stated that the income reached Rp 34.18 trillion from 13 types of taxes namely, motor vehicle tax, vehicle-ownership transfer fee, land and building tax, land acquisition fees, fuel tax, groundwater taxes, PJU tax, parking tax, restaurant tax, entertainment taxes, hotel tax, ads tax, and cigarette excise tax.

"Up to December 3, the tax and retribution realization receipts from 13 tax items will hit Rp 34.18 trillion or around 89 percent of the target set at Rp 38.1 trillion, he expressed, Wednesday (12/5).

Of 13 tax types, one out of them have exceeded the target, namely land and building tax with Rp 8.56 trillion or 100.76 percent out of the target by Rp 8.5 trillion.

"So its surplus realization reaches Rp 64.8 billion," he explained.

Aside that, the higher tax realization also came from parking tax with Rp 468.7 billion or around 90.68 percent of the target by Rp 550 billion.

Then for other tax items, its realization is stable.

"But we're still optimistic, with the near end of the year the tax revenue target will be achieved," he stated.
