Marunda Residents Trained to Handle Fire

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-dept. gives fire training to Marunda residents, Marunda Urban Village, Cilincing, on Saturday (12/8).
In this training we give techniques to use gas stove safely and fire handling simulation caused by gas stove,
North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Head, Satriadi Gunawan said, 50 Cluster B residents of Marunda Flat, including RT/RW and Karang Taruna administrators participate in this training.
Kelapadua Wetan People Get Fire Training"In this training we give techniques to use gas stove safely and fire handling simulation caused by gas stove," he explained.
According to him, fire handling materials are given to flat residents because most fire cases are caused by gas stove explosion.
His side anticipates fire incidents by educating residents thus they can conduct early fire handling when fire occurred.
"We start simulation by using makeshift tools such as wet sacks and also fire extinguisher (APAR)," he conveyed.
