South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) will apply traffic engineering on Blok P and Blok O intersection, from Jalan Prapanca to traffic light on Jalan Iskandarsyah, Kebayoran Baru.

Traffic engineering will be carried out in a month and it will be evaluated later

South Jakarta Sudinhub Head, Christianto mentioned, traffic engineering will be applied from December 22 to reduce traffic jams at roundabout and intersection points.

"It will be applied n a month and will be continued with evaluation. If it is assessed can reduce traffic jams well, it will be set permanently. Sudinhub also socializes residents and installs traffic engineering map banners to inform the road users," he explained, Wednesday (12/19).

In details, road users from Antasari or Kemang (south) into Jalan Wijaya 1, Jalan Wijaya 2, and Blok M (north) will be diverted to take a U-turn at Jalan Brawijaya Raya intersection and Jalan Brawijaya XI. While for road users who are from Jalan Brawijaya XII (south) and want to go to Jalan Brawijaya I, II, and Blok M (north) to take U-turn at intersection on Jalan Brawijaya Raya and Jalan Brawijaya XI.

"Vehicles from Jalan Brawijaya (west) to Kemang or Antasari (south) can't turn right and should take U-turn beside Jalan Iskandarsyah Raya and Jalan Melawai Raya," he added.

Then road users from Jalan Melawai Raya into Kemang or Antasari (south) are prohibited to turn right and should take U-turn on Jalan Iskandarsyah in front of Blok M Terminal. "We hope road users can follow this regulation when it is applied and prioritize safety on the road," he conveyed.
