We will optimize it to anticipate garbage from piling up

South Jakarta Environment (LH) Sub-dept. deploys 300 personnel on New Year's Eve to maintain cleanliness of the area. They will be placed in crowded places and tourist destinations.

South Jakarta LH Sub-dept. Head, Syarifudin stated, personnel will be focused in several crowded places such as Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village (PBB) and Ragunan Zoo.

"There are 300 personnel in total. We deploy 150 personnel in Setu Babakan and the remaining personnel in other crowded places," he conveyed, Saturday (12/29).

Moreover, South Jakarta LH Sub-dept. also deploys 20 operational pickup trucks, 15 compactor trucks, and 12 road sweepers.

"We will optimize it to anticipate garbage from piling up. After collecting the garbage, we will transport it directly to Bantar Gebang," he mentioned.
