Jakarta Tax and Levy Agency (BPRD), held a working meeting yesterday discussing strategies for achieving more optimal tax revenue at the Technical Building, Jalan Abdul Muis, Central Jakarta.

The meeting was attended by Center for Indonesia Taxation Analysis (CITA) Executive Director, Yustinus Prastowo; Faculty of Administrative Sciences, University of Indonesia Lecturer, Roy V Salomo; Governors Team for Accelerated Development (TGUPP) Member, Hasan Basri; and Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)'s Supervision Head, Dian Patra.

To achieve tax target by Rp 44.108 trillion, five work programs have been applied, namely fiscal cadaster, law enforcement, information technology-based tax services by increasing local tax payment channels cooperate with banks, socialization throughout Jakarta region and tax clearance policy.
"So we're optimistic the target can be achieved," he stressed.
