Motorists passing on Jalan Arteri Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta, are urged to be really careful. Not only there are many potholes, the road is also sandy thus making it slippery to be passed and prone to accident.

Muhammad Ibrahim (24), resident of Kebantenan, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-District, North Jakarta, admitted scared every time he passed on Jalan Arteri Marunda because many people had accidents along this road.
“The potholes are big and the sand is making the road slippery,” he lamented, Friday (8/15).
Apartment Construction Project Leads to Damaged RoadResponding this matter, Head of Jakarta Public Works Department Roads and Bridges Maintenance Division, Juani Yusuf, explained that Jalan Arteri Marunda damaged because it is passed by many container trucks.
“We’ll send officers again to check the road’s condition. After that, we’ll do emergency repair. Previously, we had done emergency repair at Kali Begog intersection,” he stated.
