Various Books Provided at Cempaka Literacy Park

East Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-department (Sudinpusip) places 100 reading books at Cempaka Park which is designed as a literacy park. This park is located on Jl. Rawa Lindung RT 01/04 Cilangkap, Cipayung, East Jakarta.

"We provide various books in this park and design it as a literacy park," said Eka Nuretika Putra, Head of East Jakarta Sudinpusip, Monday (2/11).
There are general knowledge books, story books, cultivation books, cooking books and others in this park. It is stored neatly in a book shelf which is located in gazebo. Soon, his side is about to add more books collection in this park.
"We also receive book donations from the locals," he added.
East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar appreciates and supports Sudinpusip's effort in making literacy park in East Jakarta.
"Books are the window to the world. It has an important role in creating a better generations," he said.
This year, his side is targeting to provide 10 literacy parks in East Jakarta.
"Hopefully, locals can participate to take care of the books," he expressed.
