40 Duri Pulo residents, Gambir, Central Jakarta participated in culinary class as a part of Integrated Entrepreneurship Development (PKT) program. Central Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-department holds this culinary class to improve people's skill in culinary such as in baking and cooking.
Julianis, resident of RT 02/08 mentioned that her side participates in this class because she wants to be entrepreneur to support her family's economy.
Cooperatives Training Intensified to Assist Coached UKMs"In this class, we are taught how to cook and bake properly," he said at Melati Duri Pulo Children-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA), Monday (3/11).
According to her, this training is important because people who want to start a business should be equipped with skills in addition to capital.
Other participants named Nur Aisyah, resident of RT 11/03 stated, this training encourages her to develop her culinary business that have been initiated since 2015.
"They train our skill and help us to get Small Micro Business Permission (IUMK) thus we can get capital easier," she added.
Gambir Sub-district Head, Fauzy informed, PKT program is held in four locations in Gambir Sub-district. Those are in Melati Duri Pulo RPTRA, Tanah Abang 3 RPTRA, Kenanga RPTRA, and Kejora RPTRA.
"There are also other classes besides culinary. Those are fashion, handicraft, and soap making," he added.
