Mampang Residents Brought to See Komarudin Flat Facilities

As many as 25 families who live on the bank of Mampang River, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta, are taken to Komarudin Flat, Cakung, East Jakarta, to see the facilities there. They were departed using Enjoy Jakarta bus provided by Jakarta Provincial Government.

“We bring 25 families to see the facilities in Komarudin Flat,” stated Head of Mampang Prapatan Sub-District, Fidiyah Rokhim, Wednesday (8/20).

According to Rokhim, a total of 372 families are affected by Mampang River normalization. However, the units provided in Komarudin Flat are less than a third.

300 Illegal Buildings Around Mampang River Demolished

“Jakarta Public Housing and Government’s Buildings Department only offered 100 units. If not enough, more units will be provided in other flats,” she told.

Therefore, Rokhim urges the residents who want to be relocated to quickly register themselves so they could get units in flats.

“We’re speeding with other controls in Jakarta. So, you must be quick if wanted to live in flats which already get waivers from the government,” she uttered.
