As many as 12 officers have been deployed to dredge drains as wide as 250 meters, precisely on Jalan Bank IV and III. "Locals asked us to immediately dredge the drains. Besides smoothing water flow, we were asked to sterilize drains from mud," he explained.
As a result, he continued, more than two tons of mud have been dredged from the drains as wide as 60 centimeters and 30 centimeters deep. "We do not directly transport the mud but keep it on an empty land as a levee to hold flooding," he finished.
