Traffic Engineering Implemented on Jalan Jatinegara Timur Due to Project Work

Traffic engineering will be implemented from March 25 until July 25, 2019

Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub) applies traffic engineering on Jalan Jatinegara Timur, starts from in front of Jatinegara Station until Kampung Melayu Terminal, East Jakarta. It is done due to PT. Telkom's fiber optic ducting pipe installation for around 1.3 kilometers in the area.

Acting Jakarta Dishub Head (Plt), Sigit Widjatmoko stated, this road which previously had three mix traffic lanes will be managed into two mix traffic lanes where vehicle lane becomes one with Transjakarta lane during the installation period.

Starting Today, Traffic Engineering Applied on Jalan DI Panjaitan

"Traffic engineering will be implemented from March 25 until July 25, 2019 or 120 days," he informed, Tuesday (3/26).

There are seven excavation areas in the leftmost lane on the east side with size around 3x18 meters. Distance between excavation areas are around 200-300 meters.

"We remind road users to follow the traffic signs and instruction from our officers. Please prioritize your safety first," he conveyed.
