He also invites communities to sort waste directly from the source and multiply the biopore hole.
"We need locals to overcome environmental issues," he stressed.
Community Participation Section Head, Joko Rianto Budi Hartono added that the event itself has been ongoing since early April.
There are some activities conducted such as Social Need Media and Earth, as well as Earth Protection from Pollution Campaign.
"Today is the peak event, we're planting a thousand productive trees, releasing 25,000 fish seeds, and making 500 biopori holes in the zoo region," he said.
