Damaged Parks in C. Jakarta Repaired

Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Department is immediately repairing the parks around BI Roundabout and Arjung Wiwaha Statue (also known as horse statue) which have been damaged after being trampled by Prabowo-Hatta's supporters during the Constitutional Court’s ruling in the presidential election result dispute on Thursday (8/21).

As quoted by beritajakarta.com, since 7 AM, around 50 officers and 10 trucks have been sent to the locations. Parks and flower pots then put in the sacks and transported by trucks.

Due to this incident, Lievayanti urges people to maintain parks well along street and pedestrian. Considering the planting process takes a long time and routine maintenance. "If the park is damaged, it will be detrimental," she finished.
